Who the information belongs to

The voter details on the site (name, father's or husband's name, ward, serial number, house number, age, gender, voter ID) are taken from the panchayat electoral rolls of the State Election Commission, which the Commission publishes openly on its website for anyone to see. This information belongs entirely to the State Election Commission. Apna Vote does not own it and makes no claim over it.

We do not create any new information. We only arrange the Commission's public rolls so they are easy to search and read. Anyone can download the same rolls from the State Election Commission's website themselves, at any time. All credit belongs to the State Election Commission.

Names shown in English are transliterations of the Hindi names, to make searching easier. They are not official.

Not official

Apna Vote is an independent site. It is not connected with the Election Commission of India, the State Election Commission or any government office, and it is not an official list.

A slip or image shared from Apna Vote is not a government document. Do not use it as identity proof or evidence, or pass it off to anyone as official.

Neutral

Apna Vote does not support any party, candidate or group. We add no information of our own to the lists.

Corrections

Details may be wrong or out of date. Always confirm with the official electoral roll or your BLO before polling day. To change anything in the roll, contact your BLO; Apna Vote cannot make changes to the official roll.

Completely free

Apna Vote is free and will stay free. It is not a paid service: we never take money from anyone. You can use it any time, from anywhere, at no cost. If anyone asks you for money in Apna Vote's name, do not pay.

Responsibility

The site is provided as it is, without any guarantee. You use the information by your own choice and at your own risk. Apna Vote is not responsible for any loss caused by using this information, by it being wrong, out of date or incomplete, or by the site being unavailable.

Your details

To use the site you must give your correct WhatsApp number, village and panchayat samiti. Giving incorrect information gets the account blocked permanently. These details are only for security and for contacting you when needed; we don't spam you (see the privacy policy).

Blocking accounts

We may block or restrict any account at any time, at our sole discretion, without notice and without giving any reason, and lifting a block is entirely our decision. A blocked account cannot see anything on the site.

Fair use

Use the site to find and share your own and your family's details. Scraping the lists, harassing anyone or misusing the information is not allowed, and accounts doing so may be closed.

Selling the information, or using it to threaten, discriminate against or spam anyone, or for anything unlawful, is not allowed. Whoever does so is fully responsible for it.

Removal requests

If the State Election Commission, any government authority, or a voter themselves asks us to remove any information, we will remove it as soon as we can. Send requests to support@apnavote.com.

Links to other sites

The site may link to the Commission's or other websites. We are not responsible for what those sites contain.

Changes and closing the service

We may change the site or these terms from time to time. The new version will appear on this page with the date shown at the top. We may take down any village's list, or the whole site, at any time without notice.
